KAT VON D LOCK IT REVOLUTION CREAM CONCEALER, SETTING POWDER, POWDER SETTING BRUSH & EDGE CONCEALER BRUSH

*product was sent to me as part of an Influenster campaign, my review is genuine and my own opinion*

Hello gorgeous readers! As you probably already know from my sneek peek Instagram photo, I received the new Kat Von D Lock It Revolution Collection box as part of an Influenster campaign. Much appreciated! KVD is one of the few makeup line that offers light foundation/concealer shades that match my pale skin -- they sent me the perfect pale shades. If you're not familiar with KVD products, the quality is exceptional. There's a bunch of past KVD reviews that can be found on the blogs sidebar is you'd like to check them out. The Lock It Revolution collection is impressive. The powder and the concealer holds up even under humid NYC weather while the brushes are perfect for creating precise application and an airbrush finish. Plus they are so cute! Read my review below then head on over to Sephora and start shopping. Also, search #LOCKITREVOLUTION #Influenster hashtags on Twitter to see what other ladies are saying about it. Stay Beautiful! XOXO

Lock It Revolution Cream Concealer: Shades (left to right) L3 Warm & L5 Neutral. This creamy concealer provides full 24hr coverage. It starts off as a rich cream and dries down to a powdery finish but it does not cake and does not settle into fine lines. The concealer can also be used as a spot concealer, to cover dark under eyes, highlight and contour. L3 is perfect for pale skin with more warmth to it and L5 sounds like it's darker but since it's neutral (no beige) it's actually lighter. I love L5 the most but I can also use L3 since it's super light. I'll probably use L3 more often in the winter.  I love this concealer because it looks close to natural skin as possible. Hint: use only the barest amount at a time since it's super creamy. You will not want to over apply. Price $26

Lock It Revolution Setting Powder: Shade Translucent: The powder has an advanced formula that is weightless and micro-blurring. It sets perfectly and leaves a soft matte finish. I dislike powders but Lock It is barley noticeable and feels naked on my skin. The translucent shades blends in well and keeps my make-up looking fresh all day. I only need a little puff of application to do the trick. The jar top contains a sifter lid underneath so it's easy to shake the brush onto the lid with no mess. Price $30

Lock It Setting Powder Brush: I love this brush! It has a fluffy, dome shape that makes it easy to apply to the contours of the face. The bristles are synthetic and cruelty-free and easy to wash. I washed it a few times since and there's no shedding. The handle material appears to be a lightweight type of aluminum, however, it's well made and sturdy. I have great experiences with past KVD brushes and I find they always perform well. Price $38

Lock It Edge Concealer Brush: The concealer brush has a unique sculpted shape especially designed for applying Lock It Concealer. It's made to work with the contours and curves of the face for precise blending and control from any angle. I love how easy it is to conceal under the eyes and on the smaller areas of the face. The bristles are soft and also hold up well under washing. One final note on all of the products, they are cruelty-free and the price points are affordable. I definitely recommend every item reviewed here. It's worth the investment. Price $24
