Happy Monday gorgeous readers! I finally have a moment to review another amazing product from Weleda, the Birch Cellulite Oil. As I mentioned in my previous Weleda reviews, the brand is cruelty-free and utilizes organic, natural ingredients that are grown on their own farms in Germany. My mother got me hooked on Weleda during my teen years since she had been using them in Italy as a young woman. Read more about birch oil below. Stay Beautiful! XOXO

Weleda Birch Cellulite Oil promotes the healthy balance of the skin. Regular use tones and firms the surface skin, helping to reduce the appearance of cellulite. An extract of young organic Birch leaves, organic Rosemary and Ruskus promotes healthy, radiant looking skin. Revitalizing Apricot Kernel Oil, moisturizing organic Jojoba Oil and vitamin-rich Wheat Germ Oil help to enliven the skin's appearance. Natural essential oils combine with the other plant extracts to tone the skin, leaving the skin feeling and looking firm and supple. Free from synthetic additives including fragrance, color or preservatives, and it is made without raw materials derived from mineral oils. Not tested on animals.

Formula: Birch oil has a fabulous, warm woodsy scent. It smells like fresh balsam with a slight frankincense aroma hint -- almost like Christmas in a bottle. I'm a woodsy-scent type girl and sniffing this is pure heaven for me. The oil's consistency is rather thick so it's recommended that you apply on wet skin as to allow the oil to glide easily on your body -- plus this helps to conserve the oil supply since it should be applied daily and nightly. The oil has a deep green tint and is fast absorbing, leaving no greasy residue behind. As for clearing up cellulite, I think it will take time and continuous use of the product. I used up two bottles and noticed some slight smoothness in terms of skin texture and tone but the slight bumps are still there. In my opinion, your best bet is to buy like six bottles at once and use them continually. Many times we want a product to work in one month or less but that's not how skin heals or changes. This is my first impression post but I'll definitely update it once I have used the oil religiously over time. Keep in mind that good diet and exercises, especially toning ones, will give you better results. In a strange twist, I discovered that applying birch oil all over my ankles after a nice warm shower made the muscles relax and the tension lessen, so an additional use can be as a soothing body oil after a strenuous workout or quick jog.
