Here's another late review for the Sephora + Pantone Universe Marsala Cheek Trio. Sadly this also sold out quickly at Sephora but there's always the chance you might find a few in stores or when they list products on the sales link. Sold out products are known to occasionally pop up unexpectedly. Has anyone tried this? Stay Beautiful! XOXO
An exclusive, limited-edition trio featuring two shades of blush and a highlighter designed to complement the 2015 Color of the Year. This limited-edition cheek set is a portable and perfect solution for adding a pop of color to everyday makeup and providing instant glow to cheek bones. The powders are created through a triple jet milled process that allows for intense color payoff and a velvety texture that leaves skin feeling luxurious, but never heavy. The unique blend of naturally derived oils and powders enhance the skin's overall appearance with a sophisticated shimmer for a radiant glow without glitter.
Designed to evoke the sleek, modern lines of the iconic Pantone Chip, and newly imagined with a captivating Marsala ombre color variation, 2015’s Color of the Year Collection makes a stunning presentation. Each product features Sephora Collection’s high performance formulas for rich color payoff and luxurious feel during wear. Refined finishes like matte, cream, metallic, and lacquer allow for a fuller expression of this bold nude shade, from sheer luminosity to wildly rich pigments.
Formula: Product was well pigmented, semi-sheer -- although buildable -- with a slight creaminess to formula. Spanish Villa is a highlighter with sparkles -- minus the glittery fallout. It's such a beautiful shade that adds a sophisticated glow to your cheeks. The coral is not as dark as I though it would appear on my fair skin and was easy to blend in. I like that it's not on the peach side of coral but more pink hued. Finally, marsala is another lovely shade that appears dark in the pan but works well when blended on the cheeks. I don't own any wine type of blushes so it' nice to have this for a more sultry pop of color during winter months. It goes without saying that the gold mirrored compact is gorgeous and sleek enough to store in the smallest clutch. I've used this several times already and I'm confident it will not go to waste sitting in my drawer. The total fill weight was equal to about five grams.
