I was lucky enough to purchase a few sets of L'Occitane Supple Body Oil over the holidays from Sephora using my annual VIB gift card. The body oil included the L'Occitane Delicious Soap as a bonus -- I'll review the soap soon. I might have gone a tweeensy weeensy wild with several box purchases -- because it's so deliciously scented. The oil and the soap are available for purchase separately at Sephora. Who else loves this? Stay Beautiful! XOXO
Enriched with three essential oils—peppermint, palmarosa, and immortelle—this smoothing body treatment repairs and protects the skin. This naturally powerful formula fights against skin slackening and loss of elasticity, making it ideal for preventing the formation of stretch marks. Highly concentrated in almond oil, it supports the hydrolipidic barrier and deeply nourishes. Skin is left comfortable, incredibly soft, and deliciously fragrant with the scent of fresh almonds
Formula: I think my long time members know by now how addicted I am to oil products. There's something so rich and decadent about body oils versus lotions and creams --- it feels somehow less watered down and more hydrating. Supple skin is lightweight, absorbs quickly and leaves no greasy residue behind. There are a lot of oils that do this but the uniqueness of L'Occitane oil is the scent. It's ridiculously potent in a good way. The scent is heavenly, like fresh almond pastry cookies and it actually lingers on your body for hours. I apply it straight out of the shower on slightly damp skin and even run the excess with my fingers throughout my hair. It does come with a hefty price tag but it's completely worth the splurge! The only tricky part is the glass bottle -- although gorgeous sitting on your vanity -- it tends to get quite slippery so you'll have to grip it tight to keep from dropping it.
