IT COSMETICS COMPLEXION PERFECTION KIT + FOUNDATION BRUSH

*Product was sent to me for my consideration. My review is genuine and my own opinion*

I was gratefully pleased to receive the It Cosmetic Complexion Perfection 5 Piece Collection from the publicity. While the entire kit was exclusively sold at QVC --then featured as their today's special at a steal-- it's now sold out, but you can still purchase the pieces individually on QVC and the brands website. My favorite piece of course is the holographic brush -- as you all know I'm a hologram for life fiend. I'm excited to talk about the product features as well as share the fact it's a cruelty free company with synthetic beauty brushes. Check out the great values QVC has to offer from the upcoming March It Cosmetic value collection. Any loyal fans out there? Stay Beautiful! XOXO

IT Cosmetics Complexion Perfection 5-Piece Collection featured as QVC Today’s Special Value.” Retailed for only $60.00 making this a major beauty steal. Contains  the following: Correcting Full Coverage Cream Compact, CC+ Eye Full Coverage Cream, CC Lipstick in Love, nude pink shade, CC+ Airbrush Perfecting Powder, CC+ Angled Buffing Foundation Brush.

CC+ Perfecting Airbrush Powder: I received the medium shade which is too dark for my fair yellow tone skin but I tested out the fair shade from a member of my family who purchased this kit. The fair was still slightly dark but was easily blended on my skin. The powder was lightweight in feel, silky to the touch and left a nice flawless finish that lasted all day.
CC+ Angled Buffing Foundation Brush: Besides the fact that this brush has a gorgeous silvery rainbow holographic finish with a nine inch handle, it's a fabulous beauty tool for creating a flawless airbrushed finish. Constructed of lightweight aluminum featuring synthetic bristles, it's the perfect brush for mineral make-up, correcting cream balm and even high definition liquid foundation. I've tried all three types and each time I use it I'm in love a little more. You get a sheer coverage airbrush look and the hairs pick up pigments beautifully that only the barest amount of product is needed. By the way, the bristles are slightly dense --more on the fluffy side and not that packed-- and the angled side makes it easy for working around the contours of your face while the bottom is rounded and flat. This is my top brush pick of the year! Just be careful not to scratch the handle because the holographic finish will rub off --the material seems to be a painted or infused color on a darker base.

Color Correcting Full Coverage Cream: Unfortunately this foundation shade in medium was even darker than the powder for my fair skin (see the swatch under the eye cream image) I didn't test this or the eye cream from the publicity set because I'm including them in a giveaway package but I did test the set from a family member who purchased the products on QVC in the FAIR shade. The fair shade was also dark for my fair skin but the formula was creamy, lightweight and blendable. It didn't leave any streaks nor did it settle on the skin. I love the innovative little container that allows you to press out the right amount of foundation at a time. The compact is gorgeous even if slightly on the bulky side. My only issue is that there's no color option for extremely fair skin complexions with yellow undertones.

CC+ Blurred Lines Smooth Fill Lipstick: The lipstick is creamy, hydrating and lasts all day while the formula is on the sheer side but buildable -- featured in a beautiful nude pink shade.
CC+ Eye Color Correcting Cream: As I mentioned above, this shade was too dark for me and I'm adding it to a giveaway package. I tested out the fair shade from another kit and found it was a slightly better color choice even though it was pretty dark on my skin. The formula was full coverage, silky and was really easy to blend into the eye are. This is a plus since you don't want to apply dry products on a sensitive area. I felt no irritations and it left a nice soothing feeling under the eyes.

  1. What a great collection. It's a shame about the color match. The angled brush sounds great, I'll have to buy one <3
