If you only purchase one dress this spring -- just one dress-- then make sure it's a peasant dress. As an ode to the seventies trend --the peasant dress is one of the more popular styles from that era and the MUST HAVE dress for spring. The peasant dress was kind of a tribute to country life -- naturally fitting in with country music, folk and nature lovers of the seventies. Designer Laura Ashley helped popularize the peasant dress in basic cotton material and pretty floral prints. And while vintage peasant dresses are lovely, shop for the more modern ones --this season has many gorgeous options for you to choose from. You can also incorporate the trend with billowy peasant blouses paired with tonal pants of the same shade. My favorite picks are shown above with that Giambattista Valli (first image on left) being the most popular silhouette of the year. It's a look that any woman can pull off because the flowing cut is forgiving on the waistline. I'm totally in love with peasant style fashions and excited seeing all these feminine vintage inspired clothes. Is there anyone who doesn't love this look? Stay Beautiful! XOXO

  1. I really love this look. The top one on the right is my absolute favorite!

  2. They're all pretty styles. The first dress is beautiful.
