The Body Shop's Vitamin E Aqua Boost Sorbet is a refreshing moisturizer and a pretty neat textured product. A little trick of mine is to place it in the refrigerator for a few minutes prior to use. It's not your typical cream moisturizer yet the ingredient list boasts a wide array of great beneficial skin vitamins added to the formula. Read more about my feelings on aqua boost below.
An instant cooling sensation for all day hydration. This silky-soft moisturizer hydrates and refreshes skin with an ultra-light light formula. Quenches skin’s thirst. Feels like a burst of freshness on skin. Enriched with wheatgerm oil & Community Fair Trade shea butter from Ghana 1.7 0z $22
Formula: The consistency of the sorbet is airy, light and almost like a whipped gel. The scent is that of delicate floral much like the entire signature line of the Vitamin E products. What's unique about this besides the fluffy texture is that it has a cool to the touch sensation when applied on the skin. The sorbet absorbs fast and leaves no residue behind. I recommend using only a small amount because adding more than needed makes the product flake somewhat. I discovered this by getting carried away with layering too much on my face one night. While it leaves my skin soft and hydrated I feel it's not that powerful of a moisturizer on extremely dry skin such as mine during the winter months. Oilier skin types will greatly appreciate this. I did find a superb use for it though. When I give myself an intense facial treatment or over exfoliate my face, the sorbet is perfect for calming and cooling down my skin. I even add it in the fridge for an extra cool tingling sensation. It's fabulous to use as a calming product and I definitely would purchase it again. It's nice to have on hand in your skincare arsenal. I imagine it will be even better to use during the summertime for days when you need a lighter, less heavy moisturizer. Sorbet facial anyone? Stay Beautiful! XOXO
