HAPPY MONDAY GORGEOUS READERS!
Sorry for the delay in bringing you my review for the limited edition DHC Disney's Alice In Wonderland Deep Cleansing Oil. I purchased this along with a few other Asian skin and beauty products during the month of August as a birthday treat for myself. I know. I'm late! I'm late! I'm late for a very important date! Couldn't help myself with the white rabbit humor and it's totally apropos. There are two different versions -the black and the red bottle -- the cleaning product is the same inside both -- I chose Alice in the red jar. If they weren't so hard to find and expensive I'd probably would have purchased both. DHC is a brand I discovered years ago. They occasionally send me free samples inside a catalog. I don't understand how they will let you order items from the Japanese catalog but they're not offering the Disney Alice cleansers for sale in the states. Not even on their website. You have to buy them from an Asian merchant or get lucky on Ebay. Not very cool. I guess this is how brands start a frenzy with girls.
DHC Deep Cleansing Oil makeup remover completely dissolves all traces of dirt and cosmetics—even waterproof mascara and eyeliner—while nourishing your complexion with antioxidant-rich olive oil. Using dry hands, massage it onto your dry face, and it immediately goes to work. Add water and it transforms to a milky, vitamin-rich emulsion that rinses clean, leaving your skin feeling soft and nurtured; never dry or greasy. One try and you’ll understand why it’s the ultimate cleanser. In a clinical study, 92% of participants agreed Deep Cleansing Oil worked better than a leading cleanser at removing complexion makeup. Unique water-soluble formula rinses thoroughly. Rich in vitamins and antioxidants. Nourishes and hydrates for younger-looking skin.
Formula: Cleansing and face oils have been on the rise as of late and it's no surprise why. They offer a lot of beauty benefits such as smoother, moisturized, healthy, glowing skin. I know it seems like an oxymoron to wash your face with oil but it really does work and my dry skin loves it. I apply it on dry with slightly moist fingers then gradually add more water to my face all the while I'm massaging and working the product in. It turns into a milky foam and washes off completely. My face is left squeaky clean, hydrated and without any greasy residue left behind. The trick is to use a MINIMAL amount of product at a time. It's expensive but you'll get your moneys worth because it should last you for months if not half a year. Seriously a couple of drops and your good. The best part is that you receive a refillable collectors bottle with Disney's Alice in Wonderland artwork. I'm going to love refilling this with my fave cleansing product once it empties out. The bottle is made of a very durable plastic and should keep for a long time with proper care and cleaning. Nothing is wasted, everything is recycled. I'm hoping to find the bottle with the White Rabbit Tea Party scene to add to my collection next. Who's a fan of cleansing oil? Stay Beautiful! XOXO
