The second review for today's facial mist products, the Caudalie Beauty Elixir Limited Edition By L'Wren Scott sold exclusively at Sephora. Caudalie makes the same larger three ounce size elixir spray bottle and with this collectible version showcasing L'Wren Scott artwork, it's only available in the one ounce size. I purchased two of these bottles since they were under twenty dollars each and a wonderful way to pay tribute to a beautiful designer. They are also shipped loose without any box.
A beauty elixir to refresh the complexion for instant radiance with grape, orange blossom, rose, balm mint, and rosemary. Inspired by Queen Isabelle of Hungary’s elixir of youth, this treatment smooths the appearance of fine lines, tightens pores, and gives the complexion an instant boost of radiance. Beloved by beauty addicts, celebrities, and makeup artists alike, fashion designer L’Wren Scott reimagines the iconic Beauty Elixir bottle with this limited-edition design that pays homage to the timeless beauty of the female silhouette. Beauty Elixir is a natural product without mineral oil. It is not tested on animals and does not contain animal ingredients.
Formula: This elixir gives off a fine spray mist that is refreshing and light. The only thing about the formula that could be improved upon is the herbal scent. While it's not intrusive it has quite the strong herbal nose that seems to smell like rosemary. There's also a hint of fresh mint but I think the herb stays with you more. This product gives your skin a nice glow and can be used patted on a fresh cleansed face for an added boost of moisture as well as a make-up setting spray. It's non-sticky and non-greasy while non-interfering with your foundation. A small spritz will do the job and with this bottle if you use it daily it's sure to run out within the week. What I can't understand is why they didn't make this with a removable top! I mean it's a collector's edition bottle with nice artwork and a shame to throw the bottle away after it's done. Little dumb things like this play on my nerves. It's all in the details. I might purchase the full size again because it's a decent mist. I only hope they make a new version with less of that herb scent. This elixir is a favorite among Caudalie fans, celebrities and a great addition to your beauty arsenal. Have you tried this? Stay beautiful! XOXO
