Finally! I know I have been tweeting about the Nude Skin Care ProGenius Treatment Oil for over a month now and the time has arrived for me to review it. The product was stuck in a box somewhere while I was redecorating my bedroom so I couldn't find them for photos until now. These are actually sample bottles given to me from Sephora for being a VIB member and they are the same exact replica of the large version with the push top dropper applicator. They sent me like 8 boxes in all, two of which I already used and the fill weight is actually over half an ounce that's almost close to one full size which is an ounce so with all eight boxes I have more product than if I would have had buying a full size bottle. I got lucky because a full ounce is almost eighty dollars, yikes! It's a good product but I have tested better or comparable oils for half the price and more product, just click on my Face Beauty Oil link in the sidebar to see all the other face serums that are more affordable than this one.
This 100 percent pure and active treatment oil provides a precisely balanced diet of vital nutrients for luminous and healthy looking skin. Suitable for vegans, this product is gluten-free with a 100 percent natural, allergen-free fragrance. It contains omega 3, 6, 7, and 9, from ten carefully selected plant oils black cumin, camellia, camelina, borage, sea buckthorn, macadamia, sweet almond, crambe abyssinica, jojoba + apricot.
Formula: This oil has a lightweight feel and glides easily on my face. It's very silky in texture and has no weird odor. I love how it absorbs rapidly allowing me to apply some under my foundation for minor dry skin issues and it doesn't interfere with my make-up. It's not greasy and your face won't stick to your pillow at night while you sleep. It also lasts quite some time because you only need a few drops on your face. I don't see any particular miraculous benefits but I guess with extended use your skin will be more softened. The ingredients are filled with plant oils and rich omega's plus it's from a cruelty free brand.
Bottom line: It's a really good skin softening oil with beneficial ingredients and it works well under your foundation. My only issue is the price, it's almost $80 for an ounce which to me isn't worth it when there are other quality face oils and better for half the price and more fill weight. If you can afford it then go for it but honestly I found brands such as Immuno Viva oil & Boscia Tsubuki oil better on the skin plus they are more affordable. Check out out my face oil links for more info. Stay beautiful! XOXO
