The Pringle of Scotland Fall 2010 Collection from London Fashion Week. Designer Clare Waight Keller comes wonderfully put together wool's and woven cashmere outfits. Many of the pieces were influenced by fisherman knits and the baggy trousers were fashioned after neoprene's that is an essential part of a fisherman's armoury. There were also details of shearling sleeves and belts, leather patches, light mesh tops and scrumptious crushed velvet's cleverly thrown into the mix. The entire color scheme for this collection was in the grey family but a few bursts of colors in mustard and apricot were thrown in. I think the clothes have a modern minimalist look with a very strong Celtic presence to them and so comfortably constructed not just practically speaking but from an artistic side as well. Most definitely not your basic winter mail order catalog knits.
