Diane von Furstenberg in my opinion has always been the epitome of cool and classy and her new Fall 2010 collection reinforces it. Some of the menswear inspired looks had a lure of feminine edginess with such pieces that include heavy wool fabrics and romantic rosettes, thick sweater coats and frilly frocks along with finishing touches of sequins and lace. I also love seeing that royal blue color again and again on the runway -- it definitely is a color trend to watch. The unexpected splashes of color and prints always add some flavor to cold weather garb, followed by the fun hair accessories and sexy platform shoes. I have to admit I wasn't thrilled with the flashback from the eighties zebra print leggings and over sized tunic, it was just a bit too much for my taste. But I am always glad to see a signature DVF wrap dress included in the mix as it's always sophisticated and a timeless must have piece in every women's wardrobe. I think the entire collection was a little different from the other looks in the past but I say that in a complimentary way and DVF has managed to still stay on top of her game.
